Change Style Indicator® (CSI)

 

The Change Style Indicator is an assessment instrument designed to measure an individual’s preferred style in approaching change and dealing with situations involving change. It is founded upon a continuum-based model, which has been divided into three distinct styles: Conserver, Pragmatist and Originator. An individual’s preferred style on this change continuum is believed to reflect an aspect of personality. In addition, it assumes that the better one understands his or her own personality, change style and the current situation, the better a person can choose a response of behavior which produces a desired outcome.
